| it's as described and inexpensive for car-camping The description says it is weather resistant and it IS. It's not waterproof (most tents, even expensive ones truly aren't without extra sealant). I appreciated no fibbing there in the description. It's small, light well vented and has a simple set up design. I don't think it's large enough for a family but as two people with plenty of room for spreading out and back packs inside it's just fine. We've been through a lot of tents over the years, and have chosen progressively smaller tents each time. But this tent is surprisingly a decent size. This tent works great. It set ups and tears down easily, and most importantly, can accommodate both my kids. We've used it in a light rain and stayed dry. Also when closed isn't too heavy to carry.
