This is, possibly, the best tent under $200. Our Uber Lite is made exclusively for CampingMaxx for Boy Scouts of America by a major European Company (but made in China, where else ?). We wanted a relatively light weight, 4 season tent which can withstand moderately hostile environments. The aluminum poles provide the strength to support a light snow load, the rain cover is 1000 mm and provides a dry living area under almost all conditions. The floor is a new light-weight material, but super strong. The seams are all thoroughly sealed. The double vestibules have zippers to protect your gear. This tent can be set up in under 3 minutes from start to entry. The living area measures 84" long by 61" wide, so 2 adults have plenty of room. The interior ceiling is 45" which provides comfort even in high winds. We are VERY proud of this tent and consider it to be the flagship of our new Uber Lite line, which took almost 20 years to develop. Watch for our other Uber Lite products debuting by this coming Spring.
Alpinismo 4 Season Tent with Aluminum Poles even better than expected - highly recommend!!!

Very light for a 4 season tent
This keeps the wind out in the winter, the vestibules are huge on this thing, and it's small enough for backpacking (for 2 to fit in, and 1 to carry.) I don't think I could find anything else that appears to be this quality for this price. And I have tried it in the winter around 0 degrees F, and it did a wonderful job. The inside of the tent warmed up just because of our breathing in less than a 1/2 hour to somewhere near room temp or a little colder. I'll post pictures when I can find where I put them!

Also, it seems to get hot in the summer time, but if you open both vestibules, it helps a bit. I suppose nothing is truly good for all 4 seasons in 1 product... Anything else I've seen is either a few hundred dollars more, or much heavier, or both.. and probably have the same drawback in the summer months when it's really hot outside. Seals out the weather in the winter though!

Good tent for the money
I bought this tent and was pleasantly suprised. I tried it out the first night in 20 degree weather and 20 to 25 mph winds. It held up fine and kept the wind out. I will say that in extreme cold weather like this you need two people to keep it comfortable inside the tent. One person inside keeps it around 25 degrees warmer than the outside air temp. It stayed around 46 degrees when I was out of my sleeping bag. When I got in my sleeping bag the temperature plummeted and I lost the battle and just totally covered up inside my bag. It stayed maybe 7 degrees warmer than the outside air. It was very windy though so it may do better in calmer winds. With two people out of their bags its quite comfortable inside. I mean very comfortable. It warms up nicely and holds the warmth. I was very suprised. The tent is designed so that it also will vent well in the summer as well. It has two huge doors on either end and two triangle shaped vents on top. The tent is well made and very light weight...

Good tent for the money
Okay first off you have to think of the price range, this tent is CHEAP for a 4 season tent. So we obviously can't compare it to the quality of $600 dollar tents. Okay now that is said:

First off the customer support was good, he threw in a bottom blue sheet for the ground for me because I was kind of weary about trying to find one that would fit. And it worked great.

The tent is very light, hiking with it would be easy. Setting up the tent was quite easy, I could do it in about 8 min by-myself. The poles are sturdy and nice, only two poles to worry about. The general design of the tent was laid out nice too. It's more of a 3 season tent, but it could work for a 4 season. It will structurally withstand snow, but it might be chilly.

One of the first things I did with this tent was set it up before a storm, needless to say it's waterproof. Not a drop in the tent with the cover on. It has two doors for easy access, mesh top for air, zippers for the window...
