The Bear Mtn. 10x10 is a large roomy free standing cabin tent, with 4 huge windows for unlimited views and unbeatable ventilation, but can be shut to keep out windblown rain. The straight walls increase interior space and allow freedom of movement without having to stoop or bend over. The rainfly has 2 poles which create awnings over each window to allow the windows to be left open in all but the worst weather. The awning in the front protects the doorway from water dripping directly into the tent. Pockets sewn into the tent help keep small items off the floor. A bathtub floor means no ground level seams to leak. A zippered duffle bag style storage bag, pole bag, stake bag, tent stakes, extra guy lines are all included
Bear Mountain 10'X10' even better than expected - highly recommend!!!
love cabin tents Received quickly thru Amazon. I was replacing an old tent that I think was about 8x8 for something just a little bigger and taller so that my son & husband could stand in it.. they are 6'3". I also wanted to be able to use this tent when I'm camping alone. I love cabin styles because they give you the most head and wall height and the best use of interior space. I was also looking at the Eureka cooper canyon. These two are almost identical in they're style & construction, but not only was the Eureka more expensive, but the fly did not pooch out over the windows so I feared that rain would drip down the side window areas, so it doesn't appear you could have them open at all during a light rain. It was a little awkard for me to set up myself, and I really want to be able to do this... I think since I have done it now the first time I will be a little more effiecent on subsequent set-ups. Although, I have not actually used it for camping yet, I don't see any reason that this won't...

Wonderful Design Have owned this tent for 3 years. It is a wonderful design, with the fly covering the windows so that rain can't come in, but you can still see out and the air circulates. The white fabric makes the tent seem airy and spacious. It is easy to put up and seems sturdy with the stakes in place. It has been in a good amount of rain and wind. No problems. I gave this tent 3 stars because the bottom, bathtub, is made of polyethelene and it is seriously flimsy! We do leave this tent up for long periods, in a shaded corner of the yard. on a wooden, well-drained platform. It gets a slight amount of sun for a couple of hours each morning, on the front. That is all. Otherwise it is in deep shade. A couple of weeks ago, we noticed that the bathtub bottom/black polyethelene is rotted and splitting on the front side from the sun. I would say that this tent is fine for short duration uses, but is not made of the best materials. We have a Eureka Sunrise that has polyester oxford for the bottom (same...
