An Almost Perfect Tent Tent is perhaps a bit small. I'm 6'0" and my wife is 5'4". This works well for both of us provided we don't bring gear inside. Gear would cramp it a bit, and the vestibule is a little small.
Other than that, the tent is pretty much perfect. It's not the lightest you can get, but for the price, it's a steal. For camping out of your car it's fantastic, although if I was going to buy a tent JUST for camping out of the car, I'd get one that was a little bigger. I can handle carrying this on short backpacking trips, however, and so opted for it.
Our last camping trip thoroughly tested its ability to keep water out. Days of rain and heavy, soaking mist assailed the tent, and it stayed perfectly dry inside the entire time. (It doesn't come with enough stakes to stake out the rainfly on the sides, so I improvised two stakes for this purpose. It should really ship with two more.) Properly staked out, however, the fly will not touch the tent's mesh, and no water...
